Thoughts on "This Is It"

Gonna keep this short cause I could go on and on.

It was amazingly great and sad at the same time. The movie showed you Michael Jackson was as great as you remembered him to be. Which then made you sad cause we lost such a person and talent. This concert would have been amazing, it really would have shown the non believers how great he was. It's so sad he never got the chance to do this tour.

I have never believed the bad stuff about him. I never will, the man was a gift to the world. Nothing anyone says will ever change my mind on that.

My favorite part of the whole movie was when Michael told the crew and dancers watching him practice to stop making him go all out on the songs. They were clapping and shouting. It was amusing and sweet, cause he couldn't hold back during practice. He was an amazing preformer and a truly sweet and gentle soul. I will always love you Michael and so will all you're true fans!

We so love Halloween, We've been watching Halloween Shows/Cartoons/Movies since October 1st. Can't wait to see Saw VI Next week. We downloaded some really cool Old movies to watch this year too. The Abominable Dr. Phibes & Dr. Phibes Rises Again. We got them because of this review: http://www.cinemassacre.com/new/?p=2616 They really look like the precursors to the Saw Movies. We will post them in our blog once they are finished uploading.

We're also so ready to go see This Is It! next Wednesday. It's going to be so good!

We've got to make a Christmas list for my family. We're actually almost half way done Christmas shopping as well, which is nice. Can't wait for the Christmas season either, but that's getting about a month ahead of ourselves.

Ummm I can't think of anything else right now, so I guess I'm done with this blog.

Nothing much really

Just wanted to make a post cause we haven't in a while.

Kinda excited with fall being here. So my favorite time of the year! I love fall so much. It just feels like happiness and love and holiday goodness!!

We're gonna put up our Halloween stuff either friday or sunday. Gotta clean first, clear out clutter dust and such. I don't even mind cleaning around this time of year.

We hope to have all our Christmas shopping done by the end of this month. Well most of it, there are a few odds and ends that have to wait a bit longer. But it will be nice to have the bulk of it done and not have to worry.

I love twitter, for real. I just think it's not how you can follow friends and famous people and update everyone in an instant! I love technology lol.

I want a new LJ layout hard but I can never get any of the neat ones to look right. Still don't know how to get a banner above our journal yet either. I can do stuff way more complicated on a computer but not that *head desk*

My birthday is next friday. It's the big 30, not sure how I feel about turning 30 yet. at first I was depressed about it. But as it gets closer I'm just not caring as much lol. I guess I'll see where I'm at when I actually turn 30.

I guess that's all, hope everyone is doing well.

Jonathan Jackson Returns to General Hospital

In a jaw-dropping switcheroo, Greg Vaughan is out as General Hospital’s Lucky Spencer and Jonathan Jackson—the actor who originated the role to extraordinary acclaim—has agreed to step back in. Jackson hits the air October 27. Though the decision to re-cast seemingly came out of nowhere, the official word from ABC is that Vaughan “has decided to leave GH and vacate the role to explore new opportunities.” Vaughan, on the other hand, has Twittered to his fans that he got the axe. Here, in a TV Guide Magazine exclusive, the Emmy-winning Jackson talks about his sudden return to Port Charles.

This is stunning—and very welcome—news! You made an indelible mark on the role, and the show.
I’m sort of in a whirlwind. This is pretty much out of the blue. It’s been 10 years since I left the show but in some ways it doesn’t feel like that at all. When I [got the offer] from GH I talked about it with my family and it felt like the right time to return. [Jackson is married to former GH star Lisa Vultaggio. They have a son, 6, and a daughter, 4.] I also talked it over with Tony Geary [Lucky’s dad Luke], who was really positive about this. Our relationship goes back a long way. That’s one of the biggest motivators in my coming back—getting to work with Tony again. It feels like a very exciting adventure.

Had there been previous offers to return to GH?
It had been contemplated at different times over the years. But it never really felt right until now. I start work October 1, then have a break, a period where I’m transitioning and moving the family down to L.A. I’ve been living in Washington state for quite a while—six or seven years now—and fly to L.A. for work. But in order for me to be available to GH as much as they’ll need me, we’ll all be moving there. It’s important to keep the family together.

Your last big gig was your recurring role on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. What’s life like balancing L.A. and Washington? What did moving there do for your soul?
It’s a good balance. I grew up there. My family’s there. After we got married, it felt like it was time to get some breathing room, get into a different headspace. Lisa had been acting for probably 16 years and felt like a new beginning. The people in Washington are wonderful. It’s been great to have that network of support. I like L.A. The restaurants are wonderful. But there is a certain tone to the town. Everybody’s intensely in the entertainment industry, and that creates a different culture, a different feeling in the air. It felt right to raise the kids in Washington, at least for their early years. We have a foundation there. I like the rain. The fall. The changing weather.

How do you fill your days there?
I’ve been doing music pretty heavily for the last 5 years. I have a band called Enation. We tour and make records. I write books. I write screenplays with my brother, Richard. I have many creative outlets beyond the acting.

Looking back at your early years as Lucky, where did you get all that old-soul stuff? Why were you such a fine actor—and so complex and worldly—at such a young age?
I don’t know where that came from. The whole acting thing just sort of clicked for me. Somehow I just understood it internally. I am definitely a person of faith, so I believe it all comes from there but even if you’re gifted, you still have to really work hard. None of it’s easy.

You played Lucky as a kid and a teen. Now you’ll get the chance to play him as a mature adult.
That’s going to be fascinating and fun for me and a bit of a paradox. I’m coming back to play the character as an adult but because I don’t know what that really means yet, I’ll be like a child—coming into it with a sense of wonder and curiosity because it’ll all be so new. I have no idea what this is going to feel like.

Did you ever imagine you’d reclaim the role after it was re-cast with Greg Vaughan?
I guess I always felt like there was a possibility somewhere, just because of the connection the audience has with Lucky, and with me playing him. So, yeah, I always felt it was a possibility. I was determined to work with Tony Geary again no matter what. It’s shocking how everything has aligned.

You know well all have our issues. We all do stuff we shouldn't from time to time. I over eat & spend money on useless junk. I've tried to stop and always fall off the wagon again. No one is perfect, no one is without fault. So why do people think they have a right to judge others? For real, Jeff deals with major pain, day in and day out. The "dugs" found were pain meds, fact. The amounts listed were standard amounts for dealing with sever daily pain. Maybe he didn't get them in a legal way, I don't know that only Jeff knows. But either way it does not make him a drug addict IMO. End.

Our 6 year anniversary is next month. Don't have much planned really. Probably just go out to eat or something. Wow six years I know married people that don't stay together that long. Really me and Crystal already consider ourselves married. I mean we're committed for life and such. Wish we could legalize it some how. I don't call Crystal my wife or partner just my girl & mate <3

Got our walmart card paid off, now just need to get the tires plus card down.

I think we're kinda furries lol, cause we're really in to the shape-shifting stuff. That snuck up on us, like we're not weird enough lol. I think it's all the supernatural books we're into lol.

(HERSHEY, PA) - The Aerosmith concert that was originally scheduled for Friday, July 3 has been cancelled. Ticket refunds will be available at point of purchase.

It is with great regret that Aerosmith are canceling the remainder of their summer tour, it was announced today.

Due to injuries Steven Tyler sustained last week when he fell from the stage during a concert in Sturgis, SD, doctors have advised the lead singer to take the time to properly recuperate from the accident that resulted in a broken shoulder and stitches to his head. In his current condition, Tyler is unable to tour and the band wants to give him time to get healthy.

Tyler fell from the stage during the August 5 show that was part of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Western South Dakota. The mishap occurred while he was dancing during the band's "Love in an Elevator." Tyler was subsequently airlifted to a hospital and then returned to Boston to consult with his own doctors.

Aerosmith - Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums) - want to thank all their fans for their incredible ongoing support and understanding at this time.

"Words can't express the sadness I feel for having to cancel this tour," says Joe Perry. "I would like to thank our loyal fans for sticking by us through thick and thin and all the good energy they are sending our way. We hope we can get the Aerosmith machine up and running again as soon as possible. I sure am going to miss playing with ZZ Top just as I'm sure the fans are going to miss seeing them playing with us as well. Hope to see you sooner than later." Joe adds, "My hat's off to our crew for putting up with this crazy stop and start tour. In my estimation, it was one of the best looking and best run tours we've ever had. Us road dawgs will meet again. May your wheels keep turning and your load in's stay smooth."

"All of us here in the Aerosmith organization and all of the people who contribute to making our shows possible are in a state of shock," Brad Whitford says. "We never anticipated this tour coming to such a swift and unfortunate ending. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Steven for a speedy recovery and return to good health."

Well here's hoping they try to come back soon. I was really looking forward to that concert. At least we'll get out money back shortly. We need the Christmas money lol.
