Is anyone here interested in buying Final Fantasy I&II and kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories both for the GBA/DS. I played both for a little while. My husband played KH more than I did.
I bought them both used at Game Crazy, cartridge only. I've kept them in the plastic ds cases, which you get too.
I'm hoping to get $20 shipped for both games. Might seperate. Just gimme an offer.

Hey, guys. I'm just a poor college student trying to make a little extra cash, and as a result I'm selling my copy of Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness (Nintendo DS). It's only been played about three times, so it's basically brand new.
I'm asking $15 for it, plus $4 shipping within the U.S. If international shipping is required, I may have to re-calculate to cover the cost. I might be willing to go down a little on my price if you want to haggle, but I would prefer to sell it at the listed price.

| con recommendations? |

I've never been to any sort of a sci fi/fantasy/rpg/gamer con before, but it recently occurred to me that it might be totally fun (a bf just took me to a puzzle con, which seemed like it would have been totally amazing if I were into puzzles). I was looking on-line at things like ConnectiCon, I-Con, Dragon*Con... I'm a bit nervous though, because while I'm interested in lots of the topics of cons like these, I don't have a ton of knowledge or experience in any particular area and worry that I might find it a bit difficult to dive in. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a con that might be particularly welcoming/enjoyable for a first-timer and/or thoughts on which ones are more queer-friendly?
In case it's relevant, more about me:
I live in NY (travel's ok, but nearby would be extra nice)
I've read lots and lots of sci-fi and fantasy novels ever since I was little (can't get enough) and I've also watched a fair number of sci-fi and fantasy movies, but I don't have terribly in-depth knowledge about any of them (def lousy at trivia).
I enjoy anime, but started watching fairly recently and have only seen a couple of series.
I've been playing in a GURPS group for a few years and played in a D20 campaign for a bit before that. I love table-top gaming, but am not familiar with most systems and have really minimal experience as a gm.
I played Magic the Gathering in high school and had a great time, but haven't touched a collectible card game since.
I enjoy playing final fantasy and other rpg on my PS2. Don't really do any other console gaming to speak of. Sometimes I play some casual on-line, PC, board, or card games. Larped once in a one-shot, which I thought was pretty fun. Tournaments or other forms of competitive play don't particularly interest me. I haven't gotten into comics or manga yet.
